 U-Trap-It and the Dolphin 7900

 Using the ScanWedge Utility

U-Trap-It uses the ScanWedge application provided with the Dolphin 7900.

ScanWedge is a program, separate from U-Trap-It, which controls the laser barcode scanner on Dolphin 7900s.

The ScanWedge program must be running if you want to scan barcodes.

Clicking “OK” on U-Trap-It’s first screen automatically runs the ScanWedge program.

( If ScanWedge is already running, you’ll get a window like the one below. )

This is asking if you want to close the ScanWedge application.

Click “No”, because closing this program will disable any laser scanning.

Do not click “Yes”

If you accidentally click “Yes” then:

1)      At your first opportunity, completely exit U-Trap-It.

2)      Run U-Trap-It again, and this will reload ScanWedge.
